Jennifer Aniston and Her Hypnotherapist Boyfriend Have to “Meditate” Through Arguments in Their Honeymoon Phase

[Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis / Credit: DepositPhotos and Youtube.] Jennifer Aniston rarely talks about her private life. Jim Curtis just did it for both of them. Appearing on 'The Jamie Kern Lima Show' on Monday, the hypnotherapist described how he and Aniston handle friction, and the answer is about what you'd expect from a transformational coach. "We do a lot of meditation. We do a lot of talk," Curtis, 50, said. "I think that at different stages in your relationship, that different tools are really beneficial."

"In a honeymoon phase, your tools don't have to be big sledgehammers," he explained, listing what they actually reach for: "Meditation, acceptance, understanding, those kind of things." Which is a fairly gentle way of saying nobody is slamming doors yet.

Curtis described the circle around Aniston, 57, as a "group of best friends that are like family," and made clear he knows what he's been given. "I feel incredibly blessed to be part of and welcomed into that family," he said. He called it "such a beautiful community and group of people," then made the observation that lands hardest. "It really speaks to her, and them, that everybody is so grounded, so kind. And it's not just to me. There's a reason why that whole group and community is so beloved."

The first photos of the two together came from Mallorca last July, over Fourth of July weekend, with Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka aboard the same yacht. They resurfaced in New York with the same couple weeks later. Days before this podcast aired, the two were photographed leaving a Los Angeles dinner with Courteney Cox, Bateman, Anka and Lisa Kudrow. A source says the pair met through mutual friends, which explains the seamlessness. After that first Mallorca trip, Curtis wrote about it in his own newsletter without naming her. "When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis."

He described Aniston as "so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving," adding that he feels blessed to be with someone "so open-hearted." She's returned the compliment publicly exactly once, telling ELLE in November that Curtis is "quite extraordinary," that hypnotism is one of several things he does, and that he wants to help people move through trauma and stagnation into clarity. "It's a beautiful thing to commit your life to." One thing appears settled, though. A source told Page Six the two are "very, very happy" but "have no intention of ever getting married." Aniston was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
